Melee Attack is an Attack Action performed with an Item or a Spell of the Melee type.
- The attacker uses Offense (OFF) in its Active Role and Defense (DEF) in its Reactive Role. When attacking with a Spell, Intellect (INT) is used unless stated otherwise.
- A model may always choose to attack unarmed (Unarmed: PW = T or AG−3, RCH 0, Unkeen) instead of using a Weapon.
- With a Shield equipped, a model may perform a Shield Bash instead (Shield Bash: Knockback (1), Unkeen, PW = T, RCH 0).
- If the Active model's Strike (STK) is greater than 1, it may split its Strikes among several targets; a separate Confrontation is resolved for each distributed Strike.
