A Confrontation occurs only when opposing models declare Attack against each other. The rolls are simultaneous.

A successful Confrontation roll: the result is ≤ your modified attribute and higher than the enemy's successful rolls. Each successful roll negates all enemy rolls with an equal or lower result. The winner — whoever keeps at least one successful roll — is the only one who delivers Hits.

Rerolls after all rolls: the Reactive player decides first, then the Active player.

Example: B's attribute is 12, roll 8; A's attribute is 13, rolls 6 and 11. B's 8 negates A's 6, but A's 11 beats the 8 and is within A's attribute → A wins, B suffers 1 Hit, B's Attack is negated.

A Critical Hit beats all of the opponent's Confrontation rolls.
