'''Spell Attack''' is an [[Attack]] Action performed by casting an offensive [[Spells|Spell]] (typically of the '''Sorcery''' type).

* Casting uses '''Intellect (INT)''' unless the Spell states otherwise; the caster must have the matching [[Affinity (Element)]].
* A Spell carries the '''Melee''' and/or '''Ranged''' type; this determines whether it behaves as a [[Melee Attack]] or a [[Ranged Attack]]. If a Spell has both types, the attacker chooses which one is used when declaring the Attack.
* If an [[Enchanter|Enchantment]] grants the model the "Spell" type (the ✯ Power symbol), its Attacks count as Spell Attacks for effects such as [[Resistance I/II (X)|Resistance (Spell)]].
